The answer to whether you can rent a car with a DUI is maybe. Because it really depends on your particular situation, it depends on the rental car company. Rental car companies, keep in mind, are private organizations so they have their own policies as to who they rent cars to.
Things of that nature. More than likely, they’re going to check your DMV background, see if you have a valid license. See if you have an unrestricted license. See if you have any requirements like you need to have an ignition interlock on your car. Because the rental car company doesn’t have cars with ignition interlocks so you’re probably not going to get a rental car from that company.
